“Love and Basketball”
Alonzo (Struggle da Preacher) tries to make it as a rapper but he’s going through some mental issues that are caused by the death of his father that happened 2 years prior. Seems like he is losing his inspiration and it’s getting harder to stay focused in the studio but he has another thing that helps him to cope with his problems is basketball.
One day he meets Christine (Anastasia Karachevskaya, voice by Shelby Glover) at the basketball court, who also lost her brother 2 years ago. She’s taking it harder than Alonzo and when she finds out he has some songs about the afterlife, her interest in him grows. They start seeing each more. But both of them take it very cautiously. As their feelings grow bigger, she wonders if she will be able to recognize souls of her people in the afterlife.
In the meantime, there shows up Jerome (Jam Barodo), a street dude whom Alonzo occasionally plays basketball with, and Christine’s former classmate who tried to be with her back in a day.

Chills From The Movie
In school I learnt one thing from my music teacher - if you are getting chills from music, it means you got hooked on it.
At the end of the movie, starting from the basketball scene, [all I was getting was] just chills. The chills from the movie! It's not flattery! I don't like to flatter!
This is the kind of a movie you want to watch again! It's like reading a book - when you start it without paying attention to details and in order to see the whole picture you start flipping pages back to find missing pieces. This film is very profound. It makes you think and it made a difference in my life. The movie is shot very well, actors did a great job, and the music really nailed t!

i love basketball and rap
I honestly liked the movie! Because I love basketball, rap, and the entire culture that is depicted in the movie. I liked the character of Jerome which was portrayed by Jam Barodo. It seems to me that he is the most motivated character, I even felt sorry for him at the end.

I enjoyed Alonzo and Jerome's acting. At some moments I really loved the camera work. Music is awesome. Besides, I liked that funny moment when the lights went off and the moment with the phone. The rake at the end of the movie is off the hook!
